Anyone else finding it hard to book viewings for units far outside KL (e.g. Kuantan, Ampang)?

Noticed that for listings in areas further from the city centre - I was looking at one near Sungai Ular, Kuantan - it took much longer to arrange a viewing compared to a condo in Ampang or PJ. Wondering if this is just because there are fewer agents covering those areas, or if landlords outside the Klang Valley are less responsive in general.

For those who've rented outside the main urban clusters: how did you handle viewings when you couldn't just "pop by" easily? Did you ask for a video walkthrough first before committing to travel down for a physical viewing? And did you still negotiate the same way (deposit, minimum tenancy) as you would for a KL/PJ unit?

Also curious if pricing and availability info tends to be less accurate for these listings since turnover of tenants/agents might be slower. Would love to hear from anyone renting in secondary towns.
