Landlord wants to sell mid-tenancy, what are my rights?

Just last week, our landlord informed us that he's decided to sell the unit. He's asking if we can move out within two months so he can do open house viewings and complete the sale faster. He said he'll waive the remaining rent, but we'd still have to find a new place super quickly.
We are quite blindsided by this as we specifically chose a 2-year lease for stability. Now we have to scramble to find a new place, pay moving costs again, and it's so disruptive. Our agreement doesn't really have a specific clause about early termination by the landlord for sale.
What are our rights as tenants in this situation? Can the landlord really just ask us to leave like this even if we have a valid tenancy agreement? Any advice on how to handle this gracefully or what our options are would be really helpful. Thanks!
