The guides in SuperHomes Resources explain buying, renting, financing and owning property in Malaysia. This page explains how they are made, what our dates and credits mean, and how to report a mistake.

1. How our guides are written

Guides are drafted with the help of AI writing tools, following a brief and a set of house content rules maintained by the SuperHomes team. Where a guide shows SuperHomes figures, such as asking prices or listing counts, those come from listings on our platform, not from the AI tool.

Guides are published under SuperHomes Editorial, not an individual name, because they are produced by this process rather than written by a single person.

2. Fact-checking

A guide that shows “Fact-checked by” with a person's name and a date has had its figures and rules checked by that person, on that date, against primary sources: for example LHDN for tax, Bank Negara Malaysia for interest rates, JPPH/NAPIC for transaction data, and the relevant Act or state authority for legal requirements.

A guide without that credit has not yet been through this check. We are working through the library, starting with the guides readers use most. Rates, fees and rules change, especially after each Budget, so always confirm current figures with the official source before you act.

3. What our dates mean

• Published: when the guide first went live.
• Last reviewed: the last time the guide's content was substantively reviewed or updated. Cosmetic edits do not change this date.

4. Not professional advice

Our guides are general information, not legal, tax or financial advice. For decisions about a specific property or transaction, speak to a lawyer, a licensed tax adviser, your bank, or a registered real estate negotiator (REN).

5. Corrections

If you spot an error or an out-of-date figure, email superhomes999@gmail.com with the guide link and what needs fixing. When we correct a substantive error we update the guide and its Last reviewed date.
