At night, many fishing boats dropped anchors and their nets under bright lights to get their catch.The estate planting has focused on flowers which have provided extensive butterflies and birds.  Hornbills have from day one been daily residents in the  state trees and enjoying many of their berries. Their  happy presence was the reason for the Sarawak native carved house .entrance doors.
